To Madeline

Goodbye Sweetheart.

I'll miss you. I'll miss your laugh. I'll miss how you are the only one that gets my jokes. I'll miss my walking buddy. I'll miss having someone to get hot chocolate with. I'll miss your randomness. Did you get the flashlight and disco ball before you left?

You're a cutie. The end of the semester can't come soon enough.

I Love You.

Amanda and I don't know what to do without you. I'm already wiping away her tears.

Effing Adorable

Jeff sent me this tonight. So glad I got Jadon the getup.

Princess Anne Cemetery

I love hanging out with dead people. They make great friends.

Went through four sets of batteries. I think something's wrong with my camera.

Tribute to Susan

Last night Amanda and I commenced our relationship Wave style. What relationship you ask? The other day my optomotrest (by the way, weirdest word EVER to spell) called her my girlfriend. So it is written, so it shall be done. Wait... pretend she was a blind optomotrest and had to write down everything she wanted to communicate to us. Is that possible? A blind optomotrest? ANYWAY...

What a week it's been. Just one of those weeks. What way to make it all better? Get dressed up and dance the night away to 80's music at a gay bar. Where else can you be so ridiculous and not have a care in the world? The Wave! It kind of goes without saying.

Things learned or simply re-introduced to me:
Thriller is the longest song ever. Mr. Vain can be played on repeat and it wouldn't bother me. Gay boys are WAY more fun to dance with than straight boys. I wish I were a gay man (only slightly). Don't wear high heels when you plan on dancing. Not everyone should dance on the stage, complete with stripper poles, in front of the dance floor.

Only a gay man would be nice enough to X my hands with hearts :)

And then I found twenty dollars.

Yippee!!!!

Too excited about the upcoming show possibilities. I have a feeling I will be spending a majority of my time at The Black Cat when I move up to DC in the fall.

My Top Ten:
January 22. Vic Chestnutt and Elf Power
January 23. Junior League Band, Hoots and Hellmouth, and O'Tasty
January 29. Nightmares on Wax
February 8. The Morning Benders, The Submarines, and Dawn Landes
February 17. Turboslut and Pygmy Lush
February 26. Tokyo Police Club, Born Ruffians, and Harlem Shakes
February 28. Benjy Ferree
March 2. Blitzen Trapper and Alela Diane
March 4. The Whigs, Dead Confederate, and Trances Arc
March 18. AC Newman and The Broken West

That only gets me through March.

I think I can make this work :)

WHAT?

This is getting a little out of hand.

Kristen Stewart. Really guys? Really? I don't see it. She plays the same role in EVERY single movie I have ever seen her in. Into the Wild, In the Land of Women, Twilight, and What Just Happened. Jaded little lovestruck girl that just can't seem to make her relationships work. Ok, ok... so she is kinda attractive... dare I say hot. But she shares the same undeniably annoying quirk with Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansonn. Has anyone else noticed or is it just me? They always have their mouths open with the same innocent, doe in the headlights look. Always! In every movie. Oh me, oh my.

But what makes this whole situation a little over the top is that she is scheduled to play Joan Jett in the upcoming movie The Runaways. Joan Jett- the woman every cool, hardcore, rocker chick strives to emulate- will now have her reputation tarnished because of a poor choice in actresses to play her.

Then again, she never did give a damn about her reputation.

Too Many Tunes

Currently stuck in my head:

I Like You and You Rock- Ryan Adams
Blinded by the Light- Manfred Mann
Zombie- The Cranberries
Some song that I DON'T EVEN KNOW. All I know is that it's in The Wrestler trailer and it's a song I should know. So frustrating.
Age Old Blue- Alela Diane

(The last one is pretty so I don't mind as much)
