I had to re-read this e-mail about five times. I still don't think that I'm reading it properly. I hope this is some sort of misunderstanding, though I fear it is not. What does this mean? Virginia's Attorney General wants us to discriminate? I don't get the point behind any of this.

Basically, yes. Colleges and Universities in Virginia are being strongly encouraged to remove "gender orientation" from their bias policies. Bastards.

There's a rally Wednesday to let the student population voice their opinions. Granted it is during the middle of the day in the middle of midterm week. Hopefully people will give up an hour of their precious study time to attend the event.
